SECURITY VERIFICATION |

is made of an applicant's name and Social Security number. The inquiry may discover
additional names or aliases, providing valuable protection against inaccurate

EMPLOYMENT
CREDIT HISTORY |
-
Our
Employment Credit History includes a national employment credit summary that returns
an applicant's name, address, and employer history (when available), plus valuable
insight into financial relationships. Confirmations are given on Social Security
numbers, spousal relationships, and the possible use of assumed names. The credit
profile of an applicant can also determine if the subject is in financial stress,
or does not show sound management on personal affairs. The report may also indicate
employment mobility that does not appear on an applicant's resume. Verifications
are conducted from provided employment applications and/or resumes.

| DRIVER
LICENSE HISTORIES |
-
Drivers'
license histories are available from all states and the District of Columbia.
Records reflect from three (3) to seven (7) years' of past driving history, including
personal data and offenses. In many states, drug and alcohol offenses are retained
as a permanent part of the individual's driving record. Driving histories are
valuable as part of any employment screening process, and can also be used periodically
to examine drivers of company-owned vehicles. The applicant's name and driver's
license number is needed to conduct this check. The search can be conducted in
Connecticut and other states.

CRIMINAL
HISTORIES |
-
A
criminal conviction history check is conducted where the applicant resided, attended
school, or previously worked. Conviction data recorded will list all offenses
proved, and the resulting consequence. Special in-depth checks which extend beyond
seven (7) years are also available. Criminal background checks are a very important
component in the screening of employment applicants. Employers familiar with negligent
hiring or retention suits, now so popular, will note that most cases rest on a
past history of criminal behavior. Criminal background checks can be conducted
in all eight (8) counties of the State of Connecticut, or on a county or statewide
basis for other states.

EDUCATIONAL
HISTORIES |
-
Educational
records will be validated with the recent institution where attendance is claimed.
When applicable, the highest degree obtained will be verified. This service verifies
background as reported by the applicant, and gathers a general history of the
student's activities according to the policies of the institution. Dates of graduation
and courses studied are obtained and, whenever possible, grade point average and
class number rank is included. The name and location of the educational institution
must be provided from an employment application or submitted resume.
|
| EMPLOYMENT
VERIFICATION |
-
The
applicant's previous employers will be contacted. The inquiry will be based on
dates of hire and termination (as compared to information supplied by the applicant).
Other points of verification include position, supervisor, salary (where applicable),
and reason for leaving. Also obtained, whenever available, are the applicant's
strengths and weaknesses in the performance of their duties in previously-held
positions. By use of a specially-developed query form, the rights and concerns
of previous employers are protected, which results in a very high response ratio.
An employment application or resume must be provided to include the names and
locations of present/previous employers that apply.

|
REFERENCES |
-
The
applicant's previous co-worker's and/or business associates will be contacted.
This inquiry is based on the applicant's working relationships and dealing with
others in the work place. References are contacted and interviewed, with an emphasis
being placed on the applicant's overall character, work ethic, reputation, and
integrity. Contact will not be established with relatives of the applicant.
