Questions to ask yourself when you suspect a fraudulent claim:
Does...
...employee have a history of claims? ...employee lack consistency when describing the accident? ...are facts hard to recall or illogical? ...employee state there was no witnesses to the injury? ...accident occur first thing Monday morning or Friday afternoon, or before employee termination, layoff or strike? ...employee show a history of changing employment, address, or physicians? ...employee refuse diagnostic treatment that may affirm the severity or nature of an injury? ...company have difficulty in reaching employee at home although allegedly disabled? ...employee seek attorney representation unusually early in the life of the claim?
