CERTA – Certified Roofing Torch Applicator Program
Initial & Recertification Courses
This full-day program trains experienced roofing mechanics, on the safe use and handling procedures for roofing torches used to apply polymer-modified bitumen roofing products. CERTA training shows how proper roof system configuration, design, and application techniques can result in fire-safe installations. This course is highly recommended for employees who may also utilize a torch for general purposes, such as, drying a section of the roof.
A certified roofing torch applicator must renew his certification status every three years.
